> Since 1996, the premiere party promoters of Vancouver have been setting it off West Coast style! Through hard work, countless supporters, street reps, dedicated staff, [essiji] entertainment continues to give the party people of Vancouver something to look forward to every weekend, FUNKtion Fridays!
> FUNKtion Fridays, first launched in the fall of 1999 at, then known as, The Big Bam Boo on West Broadway, brought literally tons of college & university aged clientele together for a night of good tunes, good drinks, and above all, meeting all the good looking people! Countless University clubs, Sports teams, Charities, & other Promotional Groups have organized fund raisers, parties, & dances and we've been proud to be able to work with all of them! In an unfortunate turn of events, FUNKtion, the party, ended one night in the Spring of 2000. The party may have ended, but the vibe continued for by then, FUNKtion fever had hit Vancouver, and everywhere we went, we heard the word FUNKtion on the lips of all.
> After a year long hiatus, FUNKtion Fridays returned, to the newly renovated Daddyo's nightclub! Yes, same location, but totally new club! So, back by popular demand, we had to turn it up a notch! Therefore, we brought in a new DJ's, a new Emcee, and a totally new website for all to enjoy their captured moments at FUNKtion!
> So, here we are now, in the 1st year of the new millennium, and we're still throwing it down! Still known for the hottest sounds, freshest vibes, and the best looking people, every Friday night. Come experience it for yourself, FUNKtion Fridays.
